This information can then be compiled and made available to us. Web beacons, along with cookies, enable us to enhance your experience on our site. How is Information About Me Kept Secure?

We protect information we collect about you by maintaining physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards. All information is secure and may be accessed only by key staff members. How Do We Protect the Privacy of Information it Collects and Manages on Behalf of its Clients? 

We work with the world’s leading marketers (our clients) to develop direct mail and permission-based email marketing communications to send to their customers (client’s customers/consumers). Our role in supporting our clients may include hosting client data, compiling or procuring prospect/acquisition data for our clients, delivery of direct mail or email, tracking results of direct mail or email campaigns, analysis of data, hosting of response data collection sites, and transferring collected data back to our clients or to our hosted database. We treat all client customer data as confidential. We are contractually bound to keep our clients’ customer data private and this data is never shared across clients or with any third party that is not authorized by a client to receive its customer data. We only uses its clients’ customer data for the specific purpose of providing services to its clients as authorized by our clients. It is our client’s responsibility (as a user of our products and services) to provide proper notice to its customers/consumers with regard to any required notices as to its data collection and data use practices, including any email or internet tracking devices. We may, however, share our clients’ customer data with our affiliate company or another company if such sharing is in connection with providing services to our clients, or in relation to a sale or consolidation of our assets, provided, however, that all such companies agree to honor all of the privacy commitments set forth in this Policy and have demonstrated appropriate levels of their ability to protect the privacy of our clients’ data. Some of our clients independently use our technology platforms to design and send their direct mail or email campaigns without the involvement of our support staff. We inform all of its clients in writing about its stringent Policy against sending unsolicited commercial email, or sending direct mail in a manner not consistent with Direct Marketing Association (DMA) guidelines. If we determine that a client has knowingly used its systems for sending unsolicited commercial email, or direct mail in a manner inconsistent with DMA guidelines, it may revoke the client’s permission to send direct mail or email using our products or our systems.

The collection of personal information in the European Union is governed by Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995. This Directive addresses the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal information and on the free movement of such information, as well as the national legislation of European Union Member states (EU).

We, or our subsidiaries, may collect data offline directly from consumers or from other data collection sources. Our partners and affiliates share information with us, such as precise and historical geographic location of your device and the approximate and historical-geographical location derived from a device IP address. Disclosure/Sharing of Personal Information
During the last year, we have only disclosed or shared personal information it has collected as described above at “ADDITIONAL PRIVACY INFORMATION.” We treat all client and customer data as confidential. We are contractually bound to keep our clients’ customer data private, and this data is never shared across clients or with any third party that is not authorized by a client to receive its customer data.

Your Choices and How to Contact Us:

Access and Correction
As a consumer under the VCDPA, you have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, the purpose for which we use the personal information, as well as the categories of personal information that we disclose and sell about you. We call this your “right to know.”

To respond to your right-to-know request, the VCDPA permits us to verify your identity. This will require that you provide certain personal information for validation. If you email us and request a consumer access report, our associate will email you to administer an authentication test in which you will be required to answer certain questions to verify your identity.

We will delete the information collected as part of the identity verification process as soon as practical after fulfilling your request.

Our clients may access and correct the information provided via this website. To request to correct this information, please submit a request here.

Unsubscribe or opt-out / Deletion Requests
We offer you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving personalized digital ads or promotional e-mails from us about our products and services. We also extends the right to request a deletion of the information that we have collected from you.

Right to Non-Discrimination

The VCDPA protects Virginia consumers who exercise their rights from discrimination.  We will not discriminate against consumers who request access to personal information about them, request deletion, or request that we opt them out of future sales.

Appeals Process:
We provide consumers a formal method for appealing our refusal to act on a request for access, deletion, correction, opt-out, or any other right afforded by state privacy laws. An appeal may be submitted by contacting us via our Privacy Center or email privacy@withrealcustomers.com.
